2012 Perennial Plant of the Year™
Our #bloomoftheday on twitter today is: Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost'. It also happens to be the 2012 Perennial Plant of the Year™ as decided by the Perennial Plant Association. It is a wonderful shade perennial grown for its delicate, long-lasting, blue forget-me-not like flowers, as well as, its silvery-green heart-shaped leaves. This shade-lover grows 45cm high and spreads 45cm. Try planting Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost' among Hosta and Ferns for a great effect.
